Installing a 10-100 NIC PCI in an L-Class
We have an L2000 and we tried to install a 10/100 NIC card. (A4712-67001). We installed it in the slot all right, but the machine always see the card as "Unclaimed/Unknown" from ioscan output. Tried to find driver from application CDs but could not find it. Tried to install all the kernel modules but still.
Is there a website from which we can download the depot drivers of this card? Or some other idea?
Thanks in advance,
Vince

This page may help explain the "btlan" Harry mentioned.

We had btlan installed but it's not working. Also lan1, lan2 and lan3 drivers are installed but nothing.

Where did this card come from? a quick search of partsurfer.hp.com tells me it is a valid part no for a PCI 10/100BT card, but its not listed as one of the interface cards available for you L class...

Re: Installing a 10-100 NIC PCI in an L-Class
This card is a bit strange... it came in an HP box on the outside, but once we opened the box, we found that it is again anclosed in a digital box (digital is the company).
