Yes, I know we should be off of the K-Series (lol), but question is:
Has anyone connected a older K-Series through cisco fabric to a newer clariion storage device lately? If so, what HBA/part # are you using?
I have to migrate from a scsi attached failing disk unit to our clariion. Contract dictates that we must keep K-box around for another year.
Its been a long time since I did HW on K-series, so hope/assume there is a tachyon type card that I could buy for this purpose.....

Shalom Dan,
Good news. I used to keep D class boxes on Fiber so its quite possible tofind supported cards.
You need to get positive confirmation but:
A3495A Will probably work.
Or
A4920A
A6684A
A6748A
All appear to be HSC FCA cards.
At least one of these actually supported on the K Class
http://www.google.co.il/search?hl=en&q=Fiber+channel+card+HP-9000+K+Class+site%3Ahp.com&btnG=Search
Ignore the Hebrew, Google thinks its smarter than me again.
Possibly more info on http://partsurfer.hp.com
