L2000. Trying to find out memory manufacturer
I'd like to know if there is any commands I can run or something I can run on the console to tell me a part number and/or mfr of the current memory installed.
Thanks!

Re: L2000. Trying to find out memory manufacturer
But I'm having trouble finding such information running #cstm -m. I select:
8 MEMORY (95) Information Successful
But can't seem to find the correct menu item to get such information as you indicate. I have to use the menu as I don't have xwindows.
What is the correct command? sorry for the novice-ness here.

# echo "sel dev 1;info;wait;il"|cstm
(device 1 is the "system" itself)
Hope this helps!

Re: L2000. Trying to find out memory manufacturer
http://h20293.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=B6191AAE
IMHO Either this version is too old or you have only third party DIMMS installed...
Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: L2000. Trying to find out memory manufacturer
I'm going to try to replace the DIMM (replacing the pair) tomorrow with Kingston RAM.
Any other ideas to find out memory mfgr? I suppose if it's not HP, it will not display the mfgr. - correct?
