MP verision update

HI all pls fine the sysrev out put below ...I can see a version difference of MPs and needs update . Can I do the MP Fw update through patch online...

I think I'm correct when I say that this refers to the RP8400? If so, please find the latest firmware download on this link:

Please read the release notes carefully, the installation instructions are at the bottom.

From the MP>CM run DFW and dunplicate the firmare.

AFAIK you cannot duplicate the MP firmware.

You need to update according to the release notes.

* MP firmware is not an updatable entity using DFW but was
displayed in the output of the command. The DFW command has
been modified and no longer displays the MP firmware
entity.

hi

for the cell based systems FW upgrade, please get in touch with a trained HP FE, logging a case with HP.


HP recommneds upgrade of FW to be done by trained HP FE only for Cell-based systems.
