On testing chassis:
On inital boot:
Warning alert after processor test 1142 source=3 PDH.
Warning The system contains an incompatible mix of processors. (Red Fault now on)
Why? incompatible with what?

Re: N4000 incompatible processor
Since your model number is A3639BR, it is a remanufactured/refurbished unit. If it was not done by HP, the company may have retrofitted a processor from the L-Class into the chassis. Although this can be made to work, it is not officially supported by HP, and some odd problems have shown up in the past. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find them on the forums anymore. If you exhaust all other possibilities, you should have HP come in and check out your hardware for this particular situation.
The DIP switches listed above are a very good bet for being the culprit.
