N4000 servers and perfs
We are getting 5 N4000 servers.
What do you recomend for racks? PN
How many Units in each?
We want to have DLT7000's or Ultriums for each. Smart Enclosers?
Starting with 6GB and 4x550cpu
Should we go with 2 or 3 carriers?

Re: N4000 servers and perfs
Because of the height of the rp74##, which I believe is 12 or 13 U's but you'll have to check, two SPU's per standard HP rack plus one maybe two, addiontal depots for external devices. DVDROM and 4mm tape come with the SPU and are not a factor.
The cabinet or rack unit of measure is a U and either HP or non-HP cabinets can be used. An A500 for example is 3 U's high so it will need 3 U's of space available in the cabinet.
See appendix C "Space Requirements" and Figure C-3. Note air flow is front to back and makes stacking easier.
See figure 1-7 for internal devices and their layout:
http://docs.hp.com/hpux/onlinedocs/2461/A6752-96008.pdf
The rp74## has three power inputs redundency purposes and refer to this document for power node input and pdu connections. See this doc.

You need this doc rack mount kit J1530A:
