Re: Network card configuration
You should be able to get whatever patches you need from either here...Maintenance and Support (at the right..just click and go into patches..) or you could ftp to ftp.hp.com and look for whatever you need there.
Hope this helps,

Solution
Hi,
There are several kinds of HP 100BaseT cards. The HSC card type you mention uses the "btlan4" driver. The current patch for this is:
PHNE_22216 s700_800 10.20 HSC 100BT lan cumulative patch.
You'll want to be certain to resolve all the patch interdependencies as well as to obtain the current SAM patch PHCO_21186 so you can SAM to set the speed and mode of the card.
We also recommend consulting the product release notes for this 100BaseT card driver at http://docs.hp.com -> Networking and Communications -> 100BaseT
The HP ITRC "maintenance and support" -> "Patching" menu tree gives you a variety of methods to manage and download patches for your installation.
Hope this helps,
Brian Hackley

Re: Network card configuration
If you know which patches you need for your OS version, you can ftp to
ftp://us-ffs.external.hp.com/hp-ux_patches
and get them from there. You will have to dig done some (cd S700_800 then 11X) for 11.0 patches for example.
Your best bet though is what Rita mentioned, and that is to go through the ITRC.
