Non HP UPS connection to 8port MUX

Non HP UPS connection to 8port MUX

I connected Non-HP UPs DB9 to RJ-48 Mux Port.
Unfortunately UPS daemon(Not HP daemon) cannot
see UPS. When I run emux_diag I saw the port
/dev/tty1a1 only transmit data.
Pinouts of my cable:

DB-9 (UPS) RJ-48 (MUX)
5 7 ground
2 --> 4 Rx
3 <-- 6 Tx

Can anybody give me some help ... ?
