Old OS info

Where would I go to find information on the OS HP installed on their first few generations of servers? Specifically any server that only had 12k of storage. Any help would be appreciated, I don't have a serial number or model number or anything, I'd just like to know what OS ran on those early machines....I realize this isn't fully on topic, but I'm doing a "time-line" for our company "museum" (read junk room )
