Overland LXB7210 on an L3000.

Can an Overland LXB7210 DLT7000 10-slot tape library system (FWD SCSI II interface) work on an L3000 server running HP-UX 11i and Data Protector 5.1? The support matrix for DP 5.1 from the HP Openview web site does not show support for the LXB7210 on HP-UX, Precision Architecture, but I found a document on Overland's web site showing how to attach the LXB7210 to an 800 server running HP-UX 10.x. No documents on HP-UX 11i were found on Overland's web site.
