Since the compatability issue is with the rp7410 and hp-ux 11.00, seems that the best course of action would be to upgrade to 11i on the rp7400, then use that ignite on the rp7410.

Of course it won't hurt to try to ignite the rp7410 with 11.00, so you may as well make the attempt. Just make sure that you size the logical volumes large enough to enable the upgrade. (see the HP-UX 11i upgrade guide that comes with the 11i media kit)
