Re: SEA problem with HP 9000 K-Klasse 460
I remember the cause for this is that terminal echoes character in wrong manner - to you type SEA then hit enter - and this 'enter' appears twice and causing search to terminate (SPU thinks you want to terminate search).
Global solution: power off terminal, press 'D' key, power on term and wait for beep. After it release 'D' key and hit enter on term's request. Whole setup of term will be reset to defaults.
Local solution: find option in terminal like 'auto LF' or something like this (it may even appear to be in the functional keys menu when looking to the term's screen. If I'm right it's F8). So find this option and turn off this mode.
Good luck!

Re: SEA problem with HP 9000 K-Klasse 460
Jovi: Welcome! I believe that Eugeny's answer will solve your problem. The only time I've seen this, terminal setup was the cause.
I further hope that you read about our 'points' system, rewarding those who provide you with answers (more for answers that fix your problem), and about posting a reply about what happened, what fixed it, etc.
No points for me, please, as Eugeny pretty much said it all in his excellent summation of the issues.
Best Regards, please let us know the outcome.
