SWC default username and password? Locked out of gsp via telnet

Can someone tell me the default username and password for the SWC (if any). I can't get in the gsp via telnet due to lan configuration changes.

Thanks

Joe,

What's SWC? The default for gsp is, I believe, blank for both user name and password if that's any help.

I think the only way is to reset your secure web console box so that it gets back its default factory setting, which will allow you to get in again and reconfigure the box. To reset it, turn off the power supply to it and power it back on, while holding the reset button when the unit powers up. It'll be set back to the default IP address 192.0.0.192.

Hi Joe

If you are talking about the web console it ahs not default passowrd for the suer name admin , howver if the same is set and there is no way u can recover it then you may like to do the following steps :

1.Disconnect the webconsole.
2.Press the centre button and swtich it on , hold it for 2-5 seconds . This will reset the IP of the webconsole to 192.0.0.192.
3.Conenct a pc OR A Laptop with a cross lan cable .
4.Change the IP adddress of the PC to a say 192.0.0.193 and subnet mask 255.255.255.0
5.Connect using the explore and typing 192.0.0.192 adrres.
5. Reconfigure the same for the HP Server and connect it back.
and this will help you too:
