System crashed
Last weekend all of a sudden our k580 crashed. I tried to reboot the machine in sungle user mode but it did not work. I also tried to boot the machine from my make recovery tape that also failed. It gave me a message that "Unexpected HPMC/TOC".
The HPMC Chasis codes for processor 0 are:
CBF0 5007 5408 5508 CBFB.
The HPMC Chasis codes for processor 1 are:
CBF0 5108 5408 5508 CBFB.
Can somebody help me what should I do now before calling the HP Service rep.
Thanks
Srinivas

Re: System crashed
I would open a hardware call to get this addressed. HPMC indicates hardware failure. Have those codes on hand when you open a call with support.
Hope this helps!

Re: System crashed
You cannot do anything if you are getting HPMC errors.
Problem is you may have analyzed your crash dump files, but since you are not able to reboot your system you are stuck.
Just let HP know these codes and they will work on it.

Anil
