Taking a processor offline
Hi,
Is it possible to take a processor offline
from any of the HP-server-models,When it is running?
(In a Multiprocessor server)

Re: Taking a processor offline
If processor you want to deconfigure is Monarch then you can deconfigure it only in PDC. If it's not Monarch CPU then you can use stm to deactivate processor and/or mark it for deconfiguration on next reboot. You will need password to access CPU deconfiguration menu in stm. Call HP for password
