Re: To access rp 3440 from console port.
The settings which is given by RAC is correct. Please check your cable.
In both side if it is 9 pin, then connect
Serevr side PC Side Pin
2 - 2
3 - 3
7 - 7
In PC end if it is 25 Pin then
2 - 2
3 - 3
7 - 9
Then check for the Hyper terminal connection.
And please ensure that the serial port is working in the PC side. Most of the time this will be the problem.
Regards
Jay

connect a monitor or laptop to the "console" then you can configure your GSP interface.

Re: To access rp 3440 from console port.
After getting logged in to GSP thro Serial port.execute the following to configure IP.
GSP>
GSP>CM
GSP>CM>LC
(Lan configure- Assign IP and mask gateway etc)
GSP>CM>XD
to restart the GSP
GSP>CM>LS
show LAN config
Now you can use this IP for logging into GSP.
With Regards,
Siva.
