I'm not 100% sure, you should ask HP, but I think the PA-8900 is supported.

HP svr upg rp7405 or rp7410 to rx7620
Upgrading the HP Server rp7410 and rp8400 systems
The HP Server rp7410 and rp8400 were the first releases of the current generation of the HP midrange server family. These PA-8700 RISC-based servers can be easily upgraded to an HP 9000 rp7420-16 or rp8420-32 Server containing PA-8900 processors. Upgrading the HP Server rp7410 and HP Server rp8400 is simple:
1. Remove the cell boards.
2. Transfer all memory to the new cell board.
3. Plug the cell board into the cabinet.
4. Remove/replace existing core I/O(s).
5. Remove/replace I/O backplane board.
6. Upgrade system firmware (as needed).
7. Install desired operating system.
8. Change system bezel to reflect the correct system name and color scheme.
This should be the same for the rx7620.
Best regards,
Robert-Jan
