UPS Config
I am trying to switch to a new APC UPS device from a PowerTrust that has gone bad. I am having trouble with the port config on the mux card. The buad rate on the PowerTrust is 1200 and the APC is 2400. I have tried to go into SAM and change the baud rate on the MUX to 2400 with no success (the PowerTrust unit was connected to the HP9000 D220 at the time). Any suggestions? If you have not yet figured out .. I am fairly new at HP-UX. We are using 10.20 of HP-UX. Thanks for any input!

Re: UPS Config
Paul,
you are not able to monitor the APC UPS with the same deamon that monitored the PowerTrust. You can purchase special software products for this task from APC (see http://www.apcc.com/)

There is no good troubleshooting with bad data
