Web Console problem
I have not been using the Web Console because I sit right next door the server room.
Here is my problem.
When I connect to the server use IE 6.0.2...SP1, I just get one of those boxes like when the when a graphic file in not in the path. When using Netscape form a linux server I get a message "Unassigned Java Applet Window".
Is this a WebConsole thing or a browser thing?
Where should I start looking to fix this?
Marty

The only thing that always remain the same are the changes.

Re: Web Console problem
If it works with prior verions of the browsers, then its a broswer thing.
Have you reset the webconsole and is the behavior the same?
How does it work with IE 5.5?
How does it work with Netscape/Mozilla?

Re: Web Console problem
Check your security permission in your IE browser.
[Verify it will allow you to use Java Applets]
- Microsoft VM
Microsoft doesn't ship the VM with the browser anymore. [So you might have to find a MS Java Virtual Machine via Internet search...That's how I found mine]

Re: Web Console problem
you might wanna consider and upgrade the firmware on the webconsole.
the latest version is 2.0
also reboot the console, and check if the java engine works.
do not hold the main button in while you recycle the power, it will default the unit. just pull the power for a few and plug it back.
also check your java virtual engine on your pc.
download the latest from http://www.java.com/en/index.jsp
have fun.
