What are the versions of HPUX that have been running on 9000 series
Hi
I know of A.xx.xx and B.xx.xx versions. Are there any more versions other than these ?
Thanks
Rajeev

Re: What are the versions of HPUX that have been running on 9000 series
Rajeev,
interesting question. I think you can get accurate answer only asking HP :o)
I searched through hp web and found only OS releases you mentioned A and B. Only Predictive software of ver. C was found.
So I conclude there's no C release of HP-UX (yet :o) )

Re: What are the versions of HPUX that have been running on 9000 series
If talking about the release identifier (uname -r): I've only been on board since 9.x which was A.9.01, etc. Then there was B.10.20, B.11.00, and now B.11.11 (aka 11i ver 1.5), and B.11.22 (aka 11i ver 1.6).
MPE/ix had C versions.

Re: What are the versions of HPUX that have been running on 9000 series
The A or B prefix to the rev code has taken on a few different meanings in the past, but nothing significant if I remember back to 7.0 or earlier. As far as I remember, A.11.00 does not exist, only B.11.00 and so on. The A. code may have referred to everything prior to 10.00 but as far as I know, if there is a B. version, there won't be an A. version.
