3 4204vl Switches
If I combine 3 4204vl switches, how do I configure it to be a /26 network? Meaning, if I use up my last IP in the network range 10.225.54.62, how will it know to use the next corresponding IP of 10.225.54.65.
If its not possible, what would I need to make it happen?
Thanks in advance.

Re: 3 4204vl Switches
I guess you have three choices:
1/ Change your subnet mask to /25. This will double your available IP addresses. (OK, double +2).
2/ Create a new VLAN and a new /26 subnet to go with it, 10.225.54.64/26, extend the VLAN to your router, create the VLAN on your router, create a VLAN interface for that VLAN, put an address from the new scope on that VLAN interface and make that your router/default gateway address for that new subnet.
3/ Create a new subnet 10.225.54.64/26, put an address from the new scope on your existing VLAN interface as a secondary IP address and make that your router/default gateway address for that new subnet.
