3Com SFP Transceiver in 2610-48 SFP port?

Is my HP Procurve 2610-48 Switch (C2106981) compatible with 3Com SFP Transceiver 100Base-FX 1300nm (3CSFP81)? Can I use this 3Com product in miniGbic (SFP) port of my HP switch?

...with arms wide open...

Sorry, the transceivers are not supported across those platforms. OPn the support matix you can find what transceivers are supported in the 2610-48
