5406zl software updates

Looking for some info on updating the software on a couple of switches I have. They are both running pretty old software(k.11.63 boot k.11.00). Can I jump straight to k.13.68 then to 15.03.0007? Or is there another one I have to get to before going to 13.68? Thanks for the info.

That sure is one very old software version!

In this case you'll probably need to use the following procedure:

1) Update to K.12.62 available on the software download page way at the bottom. This will upgrade the BootROM to K.12.12. Keep in mind that it reboots twice for BootROM Updates, once to apply the ROM update and then once more to apply the software update.

2) From there you can perform the next upgrade step, to K.13.68.

3) Now you can go ahead and update into K.15.x.

Those update steps are listed as required in the release notes, and the old software still posted on the website as a result for a good reason!
