5412zl crashes every hour

I've got a HP Procurve 5412zl which reboots at exactly 1 hour intervals.

When the crash occurs, CPU goes to 100% and Ping times are 2seconds+, then switch restarts.

Running Software revision  : K.15.02.0005

Saved crash information:

The switch is currently unused, so has minimal modules installed and almost no config!

Any ideas?

You can contact the Support to obtain the latest not Generally available version to check if it fix your behaviour.

For troubleshooting steps.

How many modules and what type is it ?

Do you have any configuration ?

Try to revert back the switch to default config, if the problem is not solved, then backward to your configuration.

Try to remove every modules, but not the management, if it failed then this is your module, otherwise add one module, etc...

You can try to test a different module in a slot where you identify the problem, this could be relevant to the slot itself.

You shoud update to new K.15.06.0008 because of any fix in K15.06.0007!
