Re: 5412zl: Modul Crash

Hi,

I see a few of this events in the logging but this one was in may at a time were only a few persons are in the company, because work time starts at 08:00. I think this event nobody realize.

I had last year problems with slot a that we changed a few times the modul and the chassis but it seems to work then.

We realize a complety fail of the network at 08/05 and i don´t know the reason.

What Firmware should i prefer? I don´t understand the philosophy of HP to offer K15.12.0015, K15.13.0008, K15.14.0007 and so on. What is the difference or the best practise?

Thanks

Re: 5412zl: Modul Crash

Read the release notes for every firmware update. Generally, keep all your devices on the latest version.

I've had similar problems with modules resetting and causing network outages. In my case I figured out one thing that seemed to cause it - that's why I was wondering if you were doing anything on the network at the time the issue started.
