6120G/XG USB console driver for Windows 8?

Laptop with Windows8. I attempted to install from the most recent HPProCurveUSBConsoleDriver.zip, from the x86 directory.  I click on the .msi file and the installation runs, then reports that it failed.  I think there may be an error message, but it disappears before I can read it. 

Laptop is an HP Elitebook 8460p.  Any suggestions on how to install the driver or is HP working on a Windows 8 compatible one?

Well right now the USB Console drivers are not compatible with windows 8. And even install in compatibility mode does not work. You might have to wait for the next release but not sure how long is that going to take.

Finding extremely difficult to console to HP Blade 6120's over Win 8. 

When can HP have the drivers soon?
