6200yl: igmp: wellknown DA packet received with address wellknown mcast address

Our 6200yl switches have recently started to have their log files filled up with messages like:

I 07/14/11 18:30:16 02422 igmp: wellknown DA packet received with address wellknown mcast address

Any good suggestions on how to find the reason for this, and possibly fix it?

I have the same message with my E5412zl switches with the same firmware   K.15.05.0002

Any suggestions from HP?

I am seeing this on a 5406 running 15.05.0008 as well.  Did either of you get an explanation of what this message means?

Response from HP support:

It is normally transparent to the user. With the update of code K.15.05.000x, it was decided that there may be a time where this reporting may be useful. If the reporting of this event is causing logs to be filled, it can be turned off by entering the following command from the CLI Manager level.

 setmib eventtype.2422 -i 1
