Aruba InstantON 1930 (HPE-JL680A) problem with SFP

Hello guys,

I'm having a problem with fiber optic connection to the mentioned switch. I have the following configuration:

TP-Link MC220L Gigabit SFP Media converter

SFP Module inside media converter is TL-SM311LS 1000Base-LX

SFP Module inside switch is MaxLink ML-S31D-3-HP

Problem is that switch does not see the link, when i connect fiber optic to switch, led blinks for a second and that's it, link is down.

Switch FW version is 1.0.5.0(139)

Was this working earlier or its a new issue?

Are you using HPE branded SFP?

Thank you for Your response.

Switch is new, and our seller checked with the supplier and offered us 2 maxlink SFP modules and they said that that module is compatible with this switch. The MaxLink ones in my original post.

Little update,

I connected my new aruba switch with an old Procurve switch 2626 and then link works without a problem. Why doesn't work with my media converter ?

What log messages have you seen  when conencted fiber optic?

Can you again connect fiber optic to switch again check and share logs?

This is when I connect two switches. I insert SFP module into port 10 on aruba switch:

What is the status of this module in switch?

No, that's it, when connecting to media converter that's the only message that is seen. Switch says link down.

It seems there is a compatibility issue between media convertor and SFP..

There might be remote intervention required.

Can you log a case with support  if they can assist on this issue?

I can't, when i want to make a case, webpage can't find my switch. I tried serial number and everything but it can't find the switch.
