Boot ROM for HP E-Series
Hey All.
Is there any documentation on HP regarding boot rom commands for E-Series switches?
Is there any way I can hop on a switch and force it into boot rom, so I can play with it? I have an old 2524 in the lab, but I also work with 3500's, 5400's, 8200's, 2900's every day.
I was in a situation last night after a firmware upgrade, where it was possible that I might have to remotely direct someone on site through the boot rom in order to flash a new version of the firmware on to the switch. (wouldn't it be great if procurve's had iLO interfaces)

Re: Boot ROM for HP E-Series
You just can't get into bootrom from a switch remotely. Why would you flash a switch in bootrom instead off normal operation mode (exept the fact you didn't read firmware requirements concerning bootrom versions and your switch won't boot anymore)?
