Can not ping Switch at Remote site

Hi All,

 

We have 2 x J8165A 2650-PWR switches at our remote site, we can ping one switch remotely  but not the other.  We can however ping the switch onsite.

 

The default gateways have been setup on each switch and the switches are connected to each other...

 

any ideas

have you set the default getway for all subnets 0.0.0.0 ?

Hi All,

 

Got it, for some reason on the web interface the gateway was set but when log onto it through telnet the gateway was not set... not sure why this is.... but change it and all is ok... strange.........
