CCTV cameras working only in Unicast not in Multicast ??

CCTV cameras working only in Unicast not in Multicast ??

hi,
After i create new different vlans in the network,there were more than 500 bosch cameras which are working only in unicast and not in multicast,i have enable the ip igmp and flow control in all the switches(2810G) in CCTV vlan where the cameras are connected.
Core & Distribution switches as 5406zl and 2810-48G & 281024G as edge switches.before this was flat network(everything is in only one vlan(vlan1)) and the multicasting was working fine.now the CCTV cameras and servers are in different vlans.

Hi,

The reason that multicast is not working between VLANs is that you have not configured multicast routing.

You will need to enable PIM in either sparse or dense mode using the following guide:
