configuration 802.1x on pro curve 2910 al
hallo every body, i have bought new pro curve 2910 al 24 ports and 48 ports, i am using pro curve for the first time,
i must config 802.1x on them i dont know how to do that and i didnt find any guide about how to config it.
till now i configured them:
2 vlan: vlan1(default lan)= 192.168.1.0 and vlan2 = 192.168.2.0 i have a raduis server in the vlan2 with the ip: 192.168.2.10
idont know how shall i config the switch ports so that clients in vlan1 and vlan2 to authentificat with the raduis server in vlan2
how shall the raduis server be untagged and tagged in the vlans?
can some body help me please??

Hello,
You need to keep access ports untagged in the VLAN you want them to be a member of, and tag VLANs except the default if you want to send multiple over a link (generally your uplink to another switch).

Just enter the name or product number of your switch, select the switch, click Product support information > Manuals and you will find them all...
In this case you should check the Management & Configuration guide for a general understanding of the switch and features like VLANs, and the Access Security Guide for RADIUS configuration and such:
