Configuration Question for 4800G-24SFP

Hi everyone,

as stated  in http://h30499.www3.hp.com/t5/E-Series/4800G-24SFP-Routing-Issues/td-p/5588289 we're

having some issues with our network.

I want to ask if somebody has a better solution, than the one working at the moment (using 11 ip-subnet based vlans on the 4800G).

When we had less subnets we use 1 Vlan and created sub (or secondary) IP addresses for the subnet.

But this solution is limited to 10 addresses per Vlan Interface :-(

We have 11 subnets at our location and a Cisco router as default gateway.

We want to use the 4800G as a default gateway for subnets and to do routing between the subnets and the Cisco.

I don't have access to the Cisco, i just know the IP address I should use as the default gateway.

To make the whole combination even worse, the IP address of the Cisco is in one of the 11 subnets we use at our location...

At the moment I'm thinking about the idea to clear the subnet on which the Cisco is, to avoid routing issues.

Maybe someone has a hint for me.

Best regards,
