connect switch via cat-7 cable
Hi all,
I've got this weird issue for a customer with several HP 2910-al swtiches.
When I try to connect a extra switch via a cat-7 cable, the interface won't come up. When I change the speed and duplex settings to 100-full the interface comes up and everything works fine.
However, when I connect a laptop via cat-7 calbe and the speed and duplex are set to auto, the interface comes up immidiatly and works at 1GB. Does this sound familiar to any one?
When i connect the swtiches to each other via a cat6 cable and speed and duplex are set to auto on both sides, everything works at 1GB.
Thanks.
