Distributed trunking and VRRP
Is it possible to use VRRP between different switch models?

Re: Distributed trunking and VRRP
Hi Brad,
I am presumming you mean setting up DT and VRRP between two different core switches? I.e. 5400 & 8200?
If so, I don't see any reason why not as long as your running the same firmware version on each of the switches.
Not so sure it would work if your using two different switches with two different versions of firmware though, maybe someone else on the forum has tried that and can share their findings.
Don't forget to mark a post resolved if your question was answered.

Re: Distributed trunking and VRRP
Yes I mean between two different switches (3500 & 5406)
I ask because I haven't seen any information stating that VRRP or DT need to be running on two switches of the same model.
