Dropping Packets Over Link Aggregation Between Procurve Switches
Hello Forum Gurus,
I have an issue with a couple Procurve 2920-series switches on my iSCSI network. I have an LACP trunk configured on two ports (23-24) on each switch with the goal being to provide a 2GB link between the switches. As I am fairly new to Procurve switches, I'm not 100% sure that my configuration is correct.
I have a SAN with 4 total uplinks on the controller and it is wired with 2 ports going to Procurve1 and 2 ports going to Procurve2. What I am seeing is a very high number of Drop Tx and Deferred Tx on the trunk ports and the SAN uplinks. My feeling is that I have misconfigured the link aggregation, but I want to confirm the correct method before I modify the configuration.
I have attached a screenshot of the dropped packet statistics and the configuration of each switch. Any help resolving this issue would be most appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Dropping Packets Over Link Aggregation Between Procurve Switches
If you are in doubt about the trunk config, hook up a single switchport to the SAN (eg, port 22).
Which switchports are the dropped packets on?
What is the traffic on all you rphysical and trunk ports simultaneously?
How are the switches connected to each other?
Do a show spanning-tree on each switch to see which ports are active or blocked.
Do a show trunk on each switch to confirm the physical ports are active in their trunks.
