DSCP policy table on 8212zl
I'm a little confused about the DSCP policy table on our 8212zl. Here are a few of the entries on our table...
011010 4
011100 4
100010 6
100100 6
I'm wondering why there would be the same numbers for different entries? Is this correct, or did someone make a mistake?

Re: DSCP policy table on 8212zl
The first column is the Differentiated Services CodePoint (DSCP), which is a 6 bit field (see RFC2474). This field can potentially take on 64 values. The other column is the 801.2p priority which is a 3 bit field. This field can take on 8 different values (see IEEE 802.1Q).
The table shows which priority (0-7) to assign for each DSCP (0-64), so there will be duplicates.
For more on this you can consult our Advanced Traffic Guide, Chapter 6 (QoS): http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c02609963/c02609963.pdf
