E3800-48G-4SFP+ Switch

Hi folks,

 

I've configured the above switch for SNMP in HP SIM but was wondering if it has logging functionality to a remote syslog host? I don't see it in the admin interface anywhere.

configure via cli:

 

3800 (config)#logging <IP address syslog server>

 

to see all options explained

 

3800 (config)#logging help

Hi,

 

Did you try  pull out power cord & see if you got the right event warning under hpsim ?
