E5406zl Routing APR Cache Problem with Printers
We have a E5406zl as Coreswitch. The switch is our Default-Gateway for all VLANs.
Everything is working fine, but sometimes some Printer are Offline.
The Printer's are in the Subnet 172.17.20.xxx/24. The Subnet is the VLAN 5.
I can ping the printer with a PC in the VLAN. But when I ping the Printer from a other VLAN, then i become Request timeout.
The Workaround , Telnetsession to my E5406 (Default-Router), make a Ping to the Printer, and everthing is OK.
The same Error also occur, with this command:
#Telnet to E5406, then
clear arp
After this command, my printers are offline. Local Ping in the same subnet is OK.
Regards
Markus

Re: E5406zl Routing APR Cache Problem with Printers
Hello
We have the exact same Problem on multiple 2920 Switchs.
Do you have a solution?
Thanks
