I have 2 2810-48g switches one at the top of the rack & the other about 25 feet away linked together via 4 cat5 cables in a trunk. The config below comes from the top of the rack switch where i get Excessive Broadcasts errors on all 4 ports in the web interface. What can i do to fix the Excessive Broadcasts ?

Re: Excessive Broadcasts on trunk
Do a "show trunk" for us, from both switches.
Do a "show cpu".

Re: Excessive Broadcasts on trunk
I downloaded a monitoring app & added those switches to it. After a few hours i started to notice that there is a port flapping issue on the switch that is in the rack. looking over the config again it looks like spanning-tree is turned on the trunks but if i do a sh spanning-tree or sh spanning-tree detail it it shows that it's not enabled

Everything looks fine.
(Although, I'd enable spanning-tree, personally.)
What is the GUI telling you, exactly?

Re: Excessive Broadcasts on trunk
Excessive Broadcasts on ports on all the links in the trunks. I noticed that one of the interfaces doesnt have activity on it #46
