Re: Fiber Connector Help
Hi Shane,
The 2510 supports only mini-GBIC (SFP) modules, so you'll need to get an SC-LC cable to replace your SC-SC cable. These can be had cheaply from most cable suppliers.

Our apprentice who is currently doing a lot of book-study tells me it's actually called a "Subscriber Connector".

Re: Fiber Connector Help
Its known by quite a few names. Pick one that you'll recognize ;). In Swedish its quite easy since our words for Big (Stor) and Small (Liten) fits well in with the SC and LC abbreviations.

Re: Fiber Connector Help
How I remind it is fairly simple...
SC would be Small and LC would be Large but it is the other way around... Since SC is the largest connector and LC the smallest...

Re: Fiber Connector Help
BTW for the official naming: LC comes from Lucent and SC comes from Siemens connectors...
