Having Mutiple Trunks All Activate on the Same VLAN

Hi All,

I have two 5406's and two 8212 all interconnected and spanning tree is doing what it does and blocking the loops. But I read some where about how you can have all the links open to all the switches.

I can't seem to find it, I want all the ports open to save wasting bandwidth. I was looking MSTP but that is on per vlan and all the devices connected to these switches are on the same vlan so that doesn't work.

With just the 4 devices, you could probably mesh your trunks....  That might achieve what it appears your aiming for...

Sometimes you have to try multiple times before you succeed.

Unless it has changed don't meshing mean you got to disable the routing options on the switches
