how many 10Gbps SFP are the e5406zl procurve switch capable to handle ?

simple question...

 

 

trying to see if i can exchange some of my SFP's with 1000sx into 10Gb SFP's..

I've used a 5412 with about 35 SFP+ in it. No problems.

 

they are 3:1 over-subscribed unless you go with a R version which are only 2:1 oversubscribed.

hmm, okey.. i might place an order next year for 50 SFP - which can handle 10Gbps.

and some new fiber cables :)

 

its gonna be good :P
