how to enable UDP forwarding on Procurve 3400?

hi, there, 

 

I setup 2 vlans (Vlan1, vlan2) on Procurve 3400, 

now devices with TCP/IP are working fine between different VLANs,

 

now I have a device on VLan 2, using certain UDP port (UDP 9001),

 

it couldn't communicate with one  server on VLAN 1 ( the device manager server),

 

may I ask how to setup on the VLAN so the device can communicate with the server in different Vlans? thanks.

 

I tried to use the command on VLAN 2 , but didn't work, 

 

ip forward-protocal udp 192.168.1.100 9001.

(192.168.1.100 is ip address of the server)
