HP 5400zl switch
Can HP 5400zl switch act as a DHCP server. I like to move all my DHCP scopes and create some new into Procurve 5400zl. I know the switch can act as a DHCP relay agent (ip-helper address ) for DHCP requests, but don't know if it supports DHCP server functionality.
Thanks

Re: HP 5400zl switch
The 5400 does not have a DHCP server. (I don't think any of the ProCurve switces had a DHCP server?)
Options might be:
- Commware switch (many have a DHCP server)
- ONE module in the 5400 (eg MS Windows 2008R2 AllianceONE module, or VMware Vsphere with a VM running DHCP)
