HP 5400zl
I replacee Cisco switch to HP 5400zl and having issues with windows XP machines where it takes way long to log into the network as opposed to Windows 7 that logs in pretty quickly.
Any idea?

Re: HP 5400zl
Hi aali,
You need to provide a lot more information if we are to help you. Here's a start:
- how you measured the performance
- whether switching back to the old switch fixes the problem
- models and configurations of both the old and the new switch

Re: HP 5400zl
Maybe spanning tree?
Make sure you have RSTP enabled. Configure your access ports as "admin-edge".
