hp 5406zl crash when accesing by Internet Explorer web management

hp 5406zl crash when accesing by Internet Explorer web management

Hi everyone,

 

I have two switches an HP Switch E5406zl (J8697A)  - Version K.15.08.0013, ROM K.15.28

 

Both of them have a crash when I access to the webmanagement.  It is always happend from the same PC with windows XP and "Internet Explorer 8.0.7600.16385".

 

When I says crash, it means that I have to reset the switch from the button to make it work again...

 

any idea?

What version of IE?  Have you tried another browser like firefox?

The internet explorer version is  "Internet Explorer 8.0.7600.16385".

 

I have done another test, from the same computer, and I can access to the web service, but the switch crashes when I try to login. From another computer connected to other vlan I don't have any problem to access de switch, and it has version "6.0.2900.5512.xpsp_sp3_gdr.100216-1514". 

 

I think I should update the firmware, but I don't know if this problem has been fixed.
