HPE 2920 with Aruba OS 16.02 - Trap or Syslog when reaching maximum Authentication client limit
Hi,
i am limiting the number of clients on a edge port with these commands (dot1x / mac Authentication):
aaa port-access authenticator 1-44 client-limit 8
aaa port-access mac-based 1-48 addr-limit 8
Is there a way to get an information on central snmp management if this limit is reached ?
Is it possible to send a Trap or Syslog message ?
Generally which types of traps is this switch (with this firmware) able to send ?
in manual i getting this list:
• ARP protection events
• Inability to establish a connection with the RADIUS or TACACS+ authentication server
• DHCP snooping events
• Dynamic IP Lockdown hardware resources consumed
• Link change notification
• Invalid password entered in a login attempt through a direct serial, Telnet, or SSH connection
• Manager password changes
• Port-security (web, MAC, or802.1X) authentication failure
• SNMP authentication failure
• Running configuration changes
Thanks.
