HPE 5412Rzl2 switch prompting for username/password
I have HPE 5412Rzl2 switch. It's brand new and right out of the box. When I try to login into the swicth via console, it's prompting me for the username/password prompt. I tried clearing all password files as well as resetting the switch to the factory defualt, but nothing helped.
Does anyone else face this issue?

Re: HPE 5412Rzl2 switch prompting for username/password
Hi @Raveena
Can you please let me know how you tried to reset factory default setting ? I hope you press and hold the clear buttion on front panel of the switch . Sometime you may need to hold the switch for few more seconds ( apprxo 25 for this model )
To reset a Switch to factory default settings:
Using a small, pointed implement such as a straightened paper clip, simultaneously press the Reset and Clear buttons located on the face of the switch
Release the Reset button and continue to hold the Clear button until the Self Test LED begins to flash
Release the Clear button.
I suggest you to refer following links for more information
