J8697A End of Software Updates

Hello,

How long will the J8697A or J8698A Switch be supplied with new software? Is there a planned end of service date?

Here you can find information about the HPE Networking Product End of Life.

SW support will  be provided until the End of Engineering Support date. This is basically 5 years after End of Sale date.

As far as I could see end of sales for the 5400 zl series is December 2015

So it should mean there will be new software at least until December 2020.
